Okay, so we took the plunge homeschooling our 6th grader.  Anne is super supportive and excited for me.  This is great because I need her to be since I'm scared practically to death. 

There were three reasons why we chose to homeschool her this year. 

1. Middle school is tough.  I want to build into her and grow our relationship so that she knows that no matter what happens in the world, she is safe and loved at home.  

2.  She needs focused attention on her math.  She hates it and she lets herself get distracted at school. 

3.  We are planning on taking her to Thailand with us in January.  We figured it would be easier for her to study at home with a life-changing trip in the middle of the school year.

I know middle school might not be something you're facing.  Instead you might be looking for things to do on those long days without your little ones.  

FFTC has a huge collection of ideas for you to enjoy with your preschoolers, toddlers, and babies.  Because let's face it, sometimes it's hard to look forward to spending time with your little ones.
