While it's Oktoberfest this weekend in New Ulm and we have an amazing sponsor for this month, what has been on my mind?
My washing machine. Because this is what it looks like right now.
Sigh.
My husband is a rock star. He spent many late nights trying to figure this out by watching youtube videos and reading instructions. All the while, I was texting my dad begging him to come to our house.
"Please, Dad, Please! Come fix my washing machine!"
Meanwhile, my husband took his wrench in one hand and his screwdriver in the other and marched into the laundry room and tore that sucker apart. This weekend we are hanging out at the laundromat. It's funny how plans change when you don't have any clean clothes.
But it's nothing compared to Hurricane Matthew. We spent some time praying for them at bedtime. And I'm grateful for the blessings we have.
