May is a super busy month. My family always seems to fly through May saying things like, "Once the summer comes, we will be able to slow down."
But actually that's not true. Once the summer comes, we will be busy at BookHounds, theatre productions and soccer withLil Kickers(registration for summer is open NOW). Then, we have
band lessons and vacation and the State Fair.
There is no time to slow down.
Unless we do it
intentionally. It may seem counterproductive that we are saying slow down when we have guides, directories, and calendars for everything to do in the Twin Cities as a family. But we promise, we aren't trying to overwhelm you. Just give you the lowdown to choose how you can relax.
This is how we want you to use our resources. Pick a day you want to do something with your family. If you want to leave the house, use our calendar or one of our guides. If you decide to slow down by eating out, use our Kids Eat Free or Cheap Guide. If you have a little one that needs special attention, use our Special Needs Shortlist. If you want to visit an interesting Nature Center near you for some peaceful outdoor time, use our Twin Cities Spring Nature Play and Programs Guide. (these are good for rainy days, too)
