Family Fun in the Twin Cities This Weekend

OH MY WORD, !

This week has been crazy. Super fun and exciting, but crazy nonetheless.

I have been able to spend time with each of my kids and even my husband by themselves because there has been so much to see and do.

It all began on Saturday night at the MNUFC match at TCF Bank Stadium. Did you know that our Major League Soccer team mascot is the Loon? Well, now you do.

On Monday night my first grader and I went to Steppingstone Theatre to meet his favorite author, Mo Willems (he wrote Elephant and Piggie, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Knufflebunny, Cat the Cat and so many more). They had a special ticketed event to hear a presentation from him and then MEET him. Omri was so overwhelmed he didn't know what to say when he finally met Mr. Willems. I, on the other hand, had no problem hogging the conversation.

On Tuesday, it was our oldest son's 9th birthday, and we were invited to the

MN Children's Museum to test out the remodeled museum. Dane was the first person EVER to go down The Scramble the new gross motor skills play structure.

On Thursday, we were invited to the Science Museum of Minnesota to see the new exhibit opening

on June 9. So I grabbed my 12 year old from the throws of homeschool (not really, we are pretty much done) and we got to play. It was incredibly cool. Here's a sneak peek of The Science of Pixar on Facebook Live .

And Friday night, my 10 year old cellist and I get to go to the Minnesota Orchestra and enjoy a concert with a couple of friends. I LOVE that I get all these opportunities! There really is something to everyone in the Twin Cities!

Wheel Fun Rentals provides opportunities for Active Family Fun Memories. Families can rent bikes or surreys, kayaks, paddleboards or pedalboats. You can even play a round of mini-golf at Veteran's Park in Richfield. You can find Wheel Fun Rental at Lake Calhoun, Minnehaha Falls, Lake Harriet, Lake Nokomis, Veteran's Park, Como Lake, and Canal Park in Duluth.
