Last week I was busy having fun with everyone in my family.

This week it was all about the last days of school.

School is out TODAY! Hallelujah!

Our favorite last-day-of-school tradition is an ice cream cone from Grandpa's Ice Cream in Fridley. How do you like to celebrate important achievements? (i.e. last day of school or first tooth or potty training or driver's license. There are MANY reasons to celebrate.)

Summer VACATION has offically begun!!!!

This weekend we have a lot to choose from.
Did you know that Saturday is National Get-Outdoors Day? Joy rounded it all up for you. A couple I wanted to highlight are the camp-out at Base Camp and visiting the State Parks.

Also, Friday morning around 10:00 am, I will be hanging out at Lake Nokomis and doing a Facebook Live with Wheel Fun Rentals. If you are interested in learning more about them, check out our Facebook page and watch.

If you would rather stay inside, the Science Museum of Minnesota is opening The Science Behind Pixar tomorrow. Gianna was able to get a preview and she said, "It's like a little piece of Walt Disney World came to Minnesota."

Summer Reading Programs all over the Twin Cities are kicking off around now. Including FFTC BookHounds! We would LOVE to see you there! It is a low-key, no-commitment book club for the whole family. You don't even need to read a book before our weekly meetings.

Wheel Fun Rentals provides opportunities for Active Family Fun Memories. Families can rent bikes or surreys, kayaks, paddleboards or pedalboats. You can even play a round of mini-golf at Veteran's Park in Richfield. You can find Wheel Fun Rental at Lake Calhoun, Minnehaha Falls, Lake Harriet, Lake Nokomis, Veteran's Park, Como Lake, and Canal Park in Duluth.
