4 Ways to Have Fun This Weekend 1/5-1/7/18

Published: Thu, 01/04/18

This weekend, my family is planning on visiting the Great Wolf Lodge (as long as we are all healthy.  Let's hope for the best since my husband was down with the stomach flu this past weekend).  We will be posting on social media to make sure you know all the great things about Great Wolf using the hashtag #GreatWolfMN.  We know it's a huge financial splurge so we want to make sure you know everything about it before you decide to put cash down to bring your family.

But you don't have to be a Great Wolf to have fun this weekend.  I have composed a list of four ways to have fun together.

1.  Stay Well
Don't get sick, if you can help it.  You can find some of the best ways to stay well in our Wellness Guide.

2.  Use a Money-Saving Strategy
Joy is the queen of doing fun family things but staying within a budget.  She has collected 10 ways we can have fun on a limited budget.  And even if you aren't on a limited budget, these are practical ways to be wise with our money.

3.  Read Through our January Guide to Events and Activities.
Anne has collected all the great things to do that are free around town or very budget-friendly.

4. Stay Inside and Play Games Together.
If you need some ideas, you have come to the right place.  We have created a collage of over 45 games you can play together as a family.  (and some of my favorites aren't even on it yet)

Meanwhile, all the preparations for the St. Paul Winter Carnival are underway.  The powers that be have extended the Winter Carnival as the Twin Cities prepares for the Super Bowl.
Are you excited for the Super Bowl?
Whether you are or are not, we will have the Super Bowl Guide that is right for you in the next couple of weeks.  Just hold tight.

Have a great weekend!
