Okay, so here's the thing.
We are now in Month Eight of 2020.
We are tired. Annoyed. Hurting. Bored. Enraged.
We are feeling all the feelings, and all the feelings aren't exactly positive.
But I know there are things that we can be glad about.
So this is my challenge to you and to myself.
Make a "Gifts in 2020 List." Take 5 minutes to list 5 things that 2020 has brought you or has made you laugh.
Here's my Gifts in 2020 List (I'm going to start from March after quarantine started).
1. A diagnosis and hope for my son's seizures.
2. A passion for racial reconciliation.
3. A puppy.
4. Losing 25 pounds.
5. Time in my yard with my neighbors and family.
It's not life shattering. But it's good. And that's where I want to focus my energy.
